Tression, a Toronto-based innovator in medical-grade compression apparel, is proud to announce the completion of a HEALTHI project with Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), one of Ontario’s largest teaching and research hospitals, facilitated through Innovation Factory in Hamilton, Ontario.
This project created meaningful opportunities for Tression to engage directly with clinicians, healthcare staff, patients and their families to gather critical real-world feedback on its compression garments ahead of its upcoming product launch. Through these engagements, Tression gained valuable clinical and user insights that are shaping the final development of its products.
The collaboration has been pivotal in helping Tression deepen its understanding of the lived experiences, challenges, and unmet needs of compression users—particularly women who require or would benefit from compression therapy but struggle with compliance due to discomfort, aesthetics, or usability of traditional products.
